Art History Framework
-Images of the 18th Century-

Welcome!  This new software aims to help teachers and students create and display projects that involve the analysis of art.  It is specifically designed for projects that use, alongside a main work of art, other images to illuminate aspects of the main artwork (its sources, its composition, its significance).  Therefore, each analysis displays a main image and several related images, present as thumbnails, which can be enlarged and projected for comparison alongside the main image.  Each analysis also has space for expository writing.  Lehigh faculty, staff, and students collaborated on its design and production in the spring of 2005, and students in Edward Gallagher's 'English 376: First Contact' first experimented with it.

To create an analysis, choose "Login" from the menu above and register. To view all the completed projects, choose "Search."
