Materials Technology (101) in 2006 Fall
Department: Materials Science and Engineering
The course will introduce principles of materials science benefiting the society and how it addresses social concerns. Students will learn how to make intelligent choices about everyday materials and devices. Students will present their informed opinions through class discussion and group projects involving a controversial topic such as recycling, green manufacturing, and nanotechnology.
